well that was a wet one. Grace was good. never seen her before and would go again. When that rain came it wasn't little drops it was full on buckets. Gord staying out there the whole time until they called it was a classy move. Seen one mic stand by the board which I hope will be circulated even though it was a short set.

Thanks. A couple of other people like it too. I don't for some reason - I think its blurry and would prefer to see his face, but to each his own!
I think not seeing his face and the silhouette nature of the image is what makes it so striking to me.

I think the band should offer "make-up-shows" to all of the venues they played in for the past 3 years. Oh wait - that's what this tour was all about with the setlists staying the same and all...

Early start time, 8:43 pm, perhaps the thinking was they could get it in before the weather

Paul's sunburst Gibson is not an acoustic guitar people!
When Paul came back out and was plugged in, I literally had my fingers crossed that he and Gord would just start playing something - anything - as this was a unique, one-in-a-million moment. It took quite a while, and I was hoping for some covers or some jamming, but they did two of the standards. It was still cool.
Gord really is the best, staying out during most of the rain and talking to the crowd.
I've gotten soaked at my last 2 concerts now, so this time I tried to be Zen about it. I recorded all the Gord chatter which should be posted shortly.
Sarah, you always seem to get great pics! Too bad none of the usual crew got to meet up after the show, as everyone scattered for the long drives ahead. Most lightning ever in a 30 minute period of time?
Hopefully we can do it all again soon - Buffalo was out in full force to see the Hip, which was great. Sell those t-shirts!
I hope everyone's gear stayed dry.
Rock 'n roll...

I'm Not Sure If I'm Disappointed They Couldn't Finish Or Kinda Relieved. For TheFirst Time Ever, I Didn't Enjoy Grace Because He Sang It So Poorly.I Don't Know What The Hell He Was Doing But It Was Awful. Play Your Hits But Sing Em Like We Know em.

Buffalo News Columnist Says:
Promoters for Outer Harbor Concert series say the Tragically Hip has agreed to reschedule Friday's concert, hopefully within the next month.
Tickets will be reissued to fans through point of purchase. The Hip is under no contractual obligation. Their love of Buffalo at work here.
