I notice one of the new songs is named "forget". Who wants to bet that the words are from the famous rant we heard during Hundredth Meridian all last tour? Just a guess.

Life is for getting, life is forgeting.

Ya I'm with you, it's gotta be from that rant/jam.

If someone did indeed tape this show could I please be included on the trading list. I have around 150 shows and would be willing to trade any three of my shows for this one.

I second that - I've got over 120 shows and I would be more than happy to trade more than one for this show. I've got a feeling this could be a very famous concert among Hipfans for years to come.

This show reminds me of the surprise charity show that I caught at the Horseshoe in December '99, just before the New Year's shows that year. They played a lot of songs of off the album that is now known as Music@Work.

What a cool experience, being able to hear so many unknown songs, in such a small club, with so many crazy Hip fans. They ended up playing 6 of those unreleased songs over the course of the 2 New Year's shows, but that Horseshoe gig previewed so many of them and it was such an increadible experience.

Even the way I heard about the show, and everything that happened until we finally got in, leaves me with such increadible memories.

Alas, a recording of that show has never surfaced either, and it was likely never taped. Of course the Hip themselves are probably sitting on a copy. I always thought that those are the types of shows that the Hip should release. They could easily find out which shows aren't being circulated amongst traders. These rare gems would sell like hot cakes (whatever that means)!

I personally am dying for another solid acoustic song, like Scared or Wheat Kings.
