I just called the Seneca Casino, and mentioned that they have cancelled a few shows this week. She seemed very sure that the band WOULD be there on Friday. So, I guess all we can do is keep our fingers crossed!

This is great news - but I know how long it has taken me to recover, and now my hubby is sick. Soo.. hopefully whoever is sick, will be better by Friday, and hasn't passed it along to anyone else in the meantime!
The show cancelled tonight in Denver and although it was a huge disappointment for me, Illness is nothing to take lightly (especially when they are in contact with so many people).
The message I received said 'due to the flu'... so; Get Well Soon!!
Anyway, I was able to switch hotel to next week since I was going up there for the Steelers-Broncos game on Monday anyway.
Enjoy the rest of the shows gang, this was my last chance to see them this year, already saw them in Vegas, and LA so I am not complaining. :thumb:

My wife and I drive seven hours through the mountains on a gorgeous spring day back in April '07 to see a show at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA. Get in line at 05:00PM for a GA show. Score front row in this night club where if we had stretched out our arms we could have grabbed one of the guys.
Gordon D. is into one of his rants telling the crowd how sick he is with a cold. Drills my wife with a hankie who promptly stuffs it in her bra for safe keeping. She was so sick for the next 3-4 weeks. Told people she had the "Lake Fever".
Maybe they'll rebook the Denver and St. Paul shows in the New Year. And maybe they'll play St. Louis on the way through. I'm just sayin'.

I was really looking forward to the St. Paul show, with lots of friends from college who are fellow Hip fans. Many of these guys were Canada imports who came down to college in the US and introduced us Americans to the Hip. We were in college when the boys played Saturday Night Live (not to date us) and we always enjoy the mini-reunion whenever the Hip come to Minneapolis/St. Paul (since they won't play Fargo...yet...).
Luckily, my wife's job will take me to The Netherlands for the Groningen, Utrecht and Amsterdam shows...looking forward to it, but I hope they can make up the show in MSP.
BUMMER, Got a call Friday from friends that their kids had bought them tickets for Denver for their 20th anniversary, wife and I decided what the hell it's the Hip we're in. Then looked here on Sunday morning and the shows cancelled. Feel sorry for those of you who travelled in from elsewhere to the Denver show. Atleast I woke up this morning feeling great, with some extra cash in my pocket and not in a post Hip show drunken haze. When will I ever hear Depression Suite live?
