No one has Up to Here on their list? Must be a younger crowd.

No love anywhere for WC I see at all!

Violet I dont mind the last two albums, but, I miss the Hip sound that people have commented on here in previous threads. I never thought the day would come where keyboards would lead a Hip track. Oh Honey is pathetic...it just ruins the mood of the album...just when I thought for a second (after listening to Morning Moon) that this was going to be something special. Are you a recent fan?

[Daryl24]

fully completely
day for night
road apples

[Mr. Lahey]

Fully Completely
Phantom Power
We Are The Same

I wish FC could be remastered. The FC songs on Yer Favs sound 100x better.

Hard to pick 3 fav albums though. Each album suits specific moods for me.

[laliber]

Road Apples
Phantom Power
Day for Night and TATH (tied for third)

[Gibson]

Henhouse
Day for NIght
Road Apples

In no particualr order.

Bakersbrew: you mean "Honey, PLease" not "oh honey" (the latter was a track on the men with brooms sdtk). I think both are great btw.

Perception vs. Reality: I decided to average out my iTunes rankings for my Hip albums (yes, work is a little boring today) and it surprised me. My top 3 are the same, but apparently TATH is not my favorite Hip album. Also, WC isn't my least favorite. That's an even bigger surprise to me!

FC - 4.83
TATH - 4.67
PP - 4.58
DFN - 4.43
RA - 4.33
IVL - 4.18
M@W - 4.14
IBE - 3.77
WC - 3.63
UTH - 3.55

My top two are rock solid. Third varies by day and mood. Right now:

1) Day For Night
2) Phantom Power
3) Up To Here

WATS is bringing up a close fourth alongside RA.

I applaud what Don (one can only image how much greater this album could have been, if he had been kept on for one more record) tried to do with the FC tracks on Yer Favs, but they sound worse IMO. The drums (which are the big problem) are even higher in the mix and sound more compressed/unnatural than the original. The only way to hear FC is on vinyl...not great, but much warmer sounding.
