I have one in my hands that I just picked up from HQ as well as a final version packaged of the CD - I only had a prerelease before - and they are sweat! I can't actually play the vinyl for another week or two until I get to my turntable.

It's very nice, for what it's worth.

Hey MAv, do you get a copy of LFTV4 when you purchase the vinyl, or is that only with the CD?

Just under $5. It works out to about the same price. I don't care about the cost, I just would have preordered everything through thehip.com if it was available there at the time. I'm excited about LFTV IV and I finalled picked up one of those Day For Night shirts I've been eyein' for a couple months now.

hmm, seems im going to have to get my people to keep an eye out of a copy of henhouse then.

also, is a copy of LFTV:V4 included with each order, or every copy of the album? since ordering 4 copies, do i get 4 or just 1?

4 I would assume, it says with each copy, but I don't know if we even get LFTV with the vinyl.

Well, the LFTV 4 is listed on the vinyl page when you order - so we shall see.

Does anyone else think that Phantom Power would be the coolest album The Hip could release on vinyl. I know I would smile every time I pulled that big yellow beast down from the shelf so I could listen to some Thompson Girl or Escape. Hopefully there will be some re-releases this year(fingers and toes crossed).

I'd love to see the Hip reissue some of their earlier albums, complete with bonus tracks and extensive liner notes. Fully Completely definitely deserves to get the remix treatment.

yeah, i really really need phantom power, ibe, wc and now this on vinyl. oh god i cannot wait to spin wats. i just went out and bought a new needle, ran me almost $200!! ahh bay bloor radio, how i love thee

im telling you, my copy of S/T is in mint shape, no pops, no hiss, nothing. just pure bliss. fucking cds, i hate cds. ugh

also, i think that there should be some remastered albums. do what dave mustaine did, when he was unable to play due to an injury, he took all their past albums and bellied up to his mixing board, remixed some of it and then remastered it with more expansive linner notes and alway 3 or 4 extra songs, whether it be demo's, b-sides, or live tracks. the hip could totally due it and it would just be the cats balls!

ouch!!! I'm due for a new needle as well, but instead I just keep spending my cash on new vinyl. It's easier to explain a $30 charge on the VISA to my wife than a $200 one.

I definitely agree with whoever said that PP (and all of the others, of course) needs to be release on vinyl !!! I've got all of the full lengths on vinyl, but listening to PP on the turntable would be the pinnacle for me!!
