Barenaked Ladies Children's Album... with Gord
#16

I wouldn't throw anything at him during a concert. Remember that t-shirt incident?

Actually, just to clarify, I wouldn't throw anything at him outside of a concert either.

I once threw a shirt at him. Hey, I just wanted to show him my throwing arm during Little Bones.

I was going to mention Harmelodia, but you beat me to it. My daughter used to love that album, but it hasn't been played in our house for a long time. I think I may just have to dust it off and give it a spin again.;

Shows you how much I know, I thought all BNL's albums were kids albums?? :lol: :lol:

Just a joke, I know there are some BNL fans out there.........I'm just not one of them........always kind of waited for them to grow up and get rid of their cheesy shtick........still waiting,

but thats just my opinion :thumb:

He just looked kind of confused. He didn't miss a beat in the song, though. It was pretty impressive.

Hmmm... I wonder why he was confused. He was probably under the false impression that he was there to perform a concert rather than be a target for projectiles. Imagine how embarrassed he was went he realized how wrong he was.

You're an idiot.....

I'll be the first one to admit that there are many BNL songs that are cheesy, immature, and are essentially bad.
I am still a BNL fan, because they also have some beautiful songs that I love (with no cheese whatsoever).

To me, their last two albums, 'Barenaked Ladies Are Me' & 'Barenaked Ladies Are Men', are their masterpieces. 99 times out of 100 I'd rather listen to these than 'Gordon' (which many will argue is their best work). 'Adrift' and 'Easy' are easily my favourite BNL songs. I'm not sure how exposed you have been to BNL, but aside from songs like 'Grade 9' and that godawful Chimpanzee song, they definetly have some really great songs.

The first three songs here are from 'Are Me', and the fourth is from 'Are Men'. I threw on a few classics as well. For some reason, I really like Adrift... I think everyone should give that song a listen. On the other hand... what do I know... I really like In View.

So, when do the "I like Peanut Butter and Crackers" t-shirts go into production?

Heat of the moment kind of thing. I mean, I never said it was a good idea and I won't deny that I regret it.

Yeah, I play it for my young students. Seriously, anyone that doesn't have that album is missing out big time. Its a tough find these days though.
