That's funny.
I didn't realize that was the whoopla the article mentioned. I felt bad for Birdseyeview at the time. My heart sank a bit when he ended it with...
"The 2nd set of tickets have already been sold too, so enjoy the show without me."

Allright,.....I thought this mess could of been put to rest, but then I was approached by a reporter to tell my tale of selling tragically hip tickets.
So lets start from the beginning....
"The 2nd set of tickets have been sold so enjoy the show without me"
That had to be said at that point in time. Even if I we're to go to the show or not (which at that point in time i DID plan on selling the tickets to my good friend), people knew where I sat from the ticket exchange section and there was a threatening post (mock or serious) out there.....
"Now we all know where he's sitting though."
So I said I sold the tickets to save face that the person in the seats may or may not be me. A few weeks later my loan went through for Grad school, making me financially more stable and leaving me with extra cash from the ticket.
The lady from Kingston this week found me and so I decided to tell my story. Scalping is not my profession, it is not cool to be on the short end I know and after all the hassle these tickets have cause you can better believe I won't be doing it again.
I can't change what happen and what was said, you know where im sitting and my face is on the kingstonthisweek.com website, so my girlfriend and I will see you at a once in a lifetime concert; I just hope you're going to see a good show too, not chastise a guy who made some wrong choice.

I think it's time to cut this guy some slack. He bought one pair of tickets for himself and his girl friend and was able to improve them at the general sale. With the crazy prices these tickets are going for on ebay, it would be hard to resist, especially if you were a student. It's not like he purchased 6 tickets at the pre-sale and another 6 at the general sale, with the sole purpose of using the extra tickets to make money of the backs of fans who weren't able to buy a pair, like some have done. His only mistake was posting them here first...but at least he was honest about it.

Hey Bridseyeview, I'm glad your going to the show and I hope you have a great time. It was obvious from the start that you were a nice guy who got caught in a Shit Storm with Shit Hawks circling overhead.
It's great to see so many people this excited to see the boys. I wish I could go to the show and buy you a cold beer but there is no way in hell I'm paying one of you bloodsuckers 500 bucks for a ticket!
Peace

Hey birdseyeview! Those were YOUR tickets. You can choose to do with them whatever you want! You can go to the show, give them away or you can sell them for profit. Im so sick of all these people crying about folks with better tickets than they have making some money. Get a grip, either get yourselves better seats by chance or pony up some money and buy yourselves first row!

I got section 6 on the floors row 3. heheheheh lets see, uhhhh 14 rows per section. 3 sections across. so i am in row 17, not bad for getting them on presale at cost. I was offered $350 a pair for my other 4 , so I could have made $700. but I sold them to a friend of a friend for $300 a pair. YUP I made a few bucks. Ahhh well what ya gonna do. My hotel is now paid for also. We will rock out and enjoy oursleves. plus the friends of friends will be sitting beside us having fun also and glad they got them, im sure of it. I have often paid HUGE SUMS for tickets to shows that I HAD TO GO TO.
