I drank a half a bottle of Jack
Swore I'd never take you back
By the bottle's end
I was on that phone
------------------------------------------
We were high we were sherpa high
we conspired against old friends
we said we must be friends or die
and we've died a thousand times since then
---------------------------------------------------
There was a chokin' dust in the air
Your heart went out of sync with your lungs
Them hiccups out of nowhere
The kind that just
Come and come
There was a palpable interest
And it kind of grew from there
Everyone had opinions
They came flying in from everywhere
Take a drink and stand on your head
Plug your nose and count backwards from 10
And push your fingers into your ears
Until your eyes well up in tears
The room fell silent, they all strained to hear
They came from all sides and down through the years
And just then out of nowhere
Your hiccups disappear
---------------------------------------------
There's this fuckin band you gotta see
they used to scare the living shit outta me
-------------------------------------------------

My fave: "Don't wipe your asses with your sleeves."
Most appropriate looking back at high school
"We said we'd be friends or die and we've died a thousand times since then."

If its for a grad quote I agree with Negphil.
"No dress rehearsal, this is our life."
I remember doing mine, I used a quote for Jim Morrison.
"There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the doors." :rambo:

I've always like the lyrics to Fireworks
"You said you didn't give a fuck about hockey
And I never saw someone say that before"
Also, Ahead by a Century
"No dress rehearsal, this is our life"

How do I explain this
I mean how do I put this into words
It's one thing or another
But it's neither this nor that
Actually, it's a collection of things
She said, "That's it, that's it, get out"

You said anytime of the night
Was also fine

Does someone know where can I locate a complete listing of all the hip’s lyric; as it stands now I can only call up one song at a time, I then do a cut and paste, but it’s a drag doing it that way. If they don't provide that on their site, why wouldn't they?
thanks

Lies over time float to the surface
lies over time they equal surface
lies over time though the reasons desert us
lies over time with no apparent purpose
Until we meet again lets stay engaged
Until then lets stay engaged (Then, engaged)
