This is a toughy because both are excellent songs in very different ways.
Scared is of course acoustic, and its greatness lies is in how the delicate-yet-dramatic atmosphere matches its arresting lyrical content.
Pistols is an ass-kicker with the type of brain-bruising guitar riffs and relentless vocals that make TTH one of my favorite rock bands ever.
I vote for Pistols, because its type is what roped me into The Hip in the first place.
And in an unrelated note -- I'm very surprised to see that ABAC beat Lake Fever in Matchup #1. For me, Fever is one of the most complete & flawless cuts that this band has to its name, and while ABAC is no slouch in those terms, it just seems that Fever is what ABAC aspired to be....
