All I'm saying is that injuries happen to all teams. I'm not comparing Connolly to Pronger.

Yeah, I know that you weren't trying to compare Connolly to Pronger directly. I'm just having a little fun with ya. Pronger is a huge loss though and it shows by the recent play of Anaheim. Pronger is better than anyone on Buffalo but I figured you already knew that. Big Grin

Jarome who?

Flames win again without their superstar captain. What a great game! Lombardi, Ritchie, and Huselius absolutely owned that game, and Kipper got his 100th career win and 5th shutout of the year. I just hope they can keep this up until Iggy gets back.

I'm sure they'll keep winning until they have to play Vancouver again. :rambo: :rambo:

Got tickets to go down to the ACC this Saturday to see a rare visit from Vancouver. Feels like I'm going to see the Marlies though. Well, here's to a win!

Given that the company I work for is based in Vancouver, I've got a lot of money and beer riding on this one. GO MARLIES!

Hockey Day in Canada is Saturday Smile
We have a dam right by our house, and a bunch of us were able to get on it for 3 days over New Years for some shinny, it was great fun. Had a couple of best-of-5's, and the ice was really good, could skate for about a mile. So for Hockey Day in Canada, we wanted to do the same, but with the weather we're having right now, that's obviously not going to be possible. So instead we are trying to rent the ice on Saturday at our local rink (though i'd imagine it'll be pretty well booked) for an hour or two, then we're all planning on going back to the Montgomery's for some pizza afterwards, and then i think they are going to have a party there Saturday night, possibly w/ the Chucky Danger Band playing in the barn.

I usually head up to my buddy's house in Orangeville, ON for HDiC, for some pond hockey. Not the case this year. Those Leafs fans really love  my Sabres jersey.

Wow, the Leafs actually pulled it off!!

What I found funny was the Sabres team complaining about penalties at the end....

I don't think I've seen a game this year with more diving and complaining than I did tonight.

This probably will result in you Buffalo fans flaming me for this, but I don't really care.

Go Leafs Go!!!

Yeah, I find Buffalo to be a whiny team but it's not their fault. Just look at their coach.

FINALLY! A win! Probably best team effort by the Leafs this season, probably best game by the Leafs this season (or at least what's left of the Leafs.......)

All in all, a good night :thumb:
