If I paid more than most peple for "Gold Circle" tickets, and I'm on the sides and not the floor, there's gonna be one pissed Hipbase mod at the Metro Centre...
And if Lance is going, maybe there will be two!

I also wonder if the length of the setlists will be diminished for the Canadian tour due to the Arkells...

I will go out on a limb and predict that the setlists will be of the same length as they have been during the U.S leg. To throw an example out there, in '04 at the ACC show, Joel Plaskett Emergency opened up and the Hip still played a 24 song set that even included 3 encores.

I don't think 24 songs is an unreasonable guess for the Canadian tour. I think the shows have been just over 2hrs in the States. If The Arkless are on between 7:30-8:15, Hip on at 8:45, a similar set length should be expected.

The two US shows I saw were 2 hrs long, so I'd imagine a similar number of songs for the Canadian shows. It's not like the evening with shows were like years past where they'd play for 2.5-3 hrs.

Depending on the venue we sometimes actually prefer side seats close to the stage. Typically the sight lines are much better and I find sound is hit and miss no matter where you are seating.
