NE goaltending hierarchy:
Huet > Miller > Aebischer > Raycroft > Emery > Aubin > Thomas > Biron > Gerber > whoever the #2 is in Boston
and of course, that's not set in stone, who knows who will have had the best season when it's all said and done...

huh, i didn't even know they playing tonight, i thought the game was tomorrow...
just looked at the score...not got at all...that's two poor performances from him in a row...
oh well, he'll bounce back, 2/4 on the road trip's ok, but kinda disappointing to lose to the Panthers...

Detroit's winning streak has to end sometime, and I really hope it's tomorrow night against Calgary. The Flames are on a roll and they're a pretty confident team at the moment. As long as they hit everything that moves and get on the forecheck early, they should come away with a victory. Kipper is in the zone and the Tanguay/Langkow/Iggy line is lighting it up right now. This is gonna be a fun game!

Damn - there is no way Biron could be that high - he makes some great saves occasionally but he lets in a hell-of-a-lot-of bad goals. He is just an average goalie. BUT I would much rather have him than either Raycroft or Emery.
Regier got an offer for Biron in the last two weeks - and turned it down - horrible move in my opinion - 2 point something million Biron costs - and you are right against the salary cap with tons of injuries - you cannot even have your call-ups practice with the team because it will soon be putting you over the cap.

We need Biron for a run at the cup, unless we got a # 2 in the deal. That's just it.

I disagree about biron being "fucking awful." He hasnt been great this year when he has had to play but I still think he is more serviceable than the most of the goalies in the NE with the exception of Huet.

haha, it's ok, go easy on him, he's from Buffalo, their standards for sporting excellence aren't very high...

6 in a row, baby! What an absolutely dominating performance by Calgary tonight. They completely smothered Detroit all night with their forecheck, Kipper was awesome AGAIN, and our top 2 lines were firing on all cylinders. Iggy stretched his point streak to 7 games with an assist, and I believe Tanguay now has 8 points in his last four games. Here's hoping they can keep the streak alive with a win over the Greasers on Tuesday.
GO FLAMES!!!
