doesn't surprise me, they did it to montreal in game 1 of the season, that's just the type of year Buffalo are having...they're a grttiy, tenacious team...no quit in them...they should be a formidable opponent come this April...alot can happen between now and then though...still, they're looking good.

Oh man...Montreal may soon have a controversy, the way Huet & Abeshier have been playing. I guess having both goalies play great, but having a controversy, is better than having one good goalie, and one that blows.

Having two goalies like this can only go on for so long, not sure how this is going to end. I have a feeling they would keep Huet cause of last year and how the fans have taken to him, but if it was me I'd keep Abeischer I think he has more long term potential and I believe he is the better goalie of the two. Plus with Price and Danis waiting in the wings we should be decent in goal for the next few years.

Great win tonight by the way, Go Habs!

we can keep them both...we're not in any cap trouble...in fact, i think the habs still have room to sign a player or two come trading season...

we could use another proven-to-produce forward...other than that, i'm perfectly happy with this lineup.

Huet is signed next season and Aebischer is a UFA, so if they were trade one of 'em it would likely be Aebischer.

true...with the way Abby's playing though, and seeing as what happened in the playoffs last year (Carolina going to Ward, after their starter went cold, and Edmonton losing Rollie in the finals and having to turn to their backups as well), i think it would be foolish to trade Abby...unless they're going to miss the playoffs, which i seriously doubt will happen.

in the new NHL - goalies see more puck – so keep em both (in case) it is a long season and hell they way things seem to unfold in Montreal with some forum phantoms drifting over (if they can afford the price) to the Bell Centre, perhaps come spring we might see the first double goalie conny-s in NHL history Confusedcratch:

Go Leafs Go!

Outplayed the Sabres the first 2 periods, then managed to hang on during the 3rd for the 2 pts.

Now, all I need is Calgary to win tonight, and my 6-game Pro-Line ticket is a winner!

Rivalry? What rivalry? I can list off about a half dozen teams that I consider to be rivals of the Leafs before Buffalo comes to mind.

Regardless, here's some more fun stats: Toronto 4, Buffalo 1.
