And the Flames lose AGAIN! Man, this is brutal. I feel like I've been transported back to the late 90s. I'm usually not one to panic, and it's still early in the season, but this team is a freakin' joke right now. On paper they look amazing, and they should be tearing up the league right now...but it's just not translating to the ice at all.

Brutal!

to bad it's played on ice and not paper eh?

I second that - it has been almost 14 years since 10-0 in OT

Explain to me how the Flames are "amazing" on paper. They've got a great goalie, I'll give them that. But I just don't understand how people go gaga over them every year.

Sure they've got Iginla up front and Phaneuf on the point but that's not enough to be annointed "Cup Contenders" The next best player they have is a guy who leaned on his highly skilled linemates to rack up the points while in Colorado...other than that, they are thin...very thin.

excellent game for the Habs vs. Carolina tonight! a little taste of revenge, especially for Koivu (who scored)...apparently Johnson and Pezcanek scored highlight reel goals tonight too...i'll be sure to watch Sportscentre!
