rickastley2 Wrote:Hey MAv,
Have you ever posted a live version of Coconut Cream as the song of the day?
I would love to hear a live version of that tune, it gets a lot of heat, but I actually love the guitar work in it.
Yes... that's right... the guitar WERRRRRRRRRRRRRK.
I guess my point is, you should post some Coconut Cream :thumb:

So hard done by - Portland
WOW! what a beautiful mess. A sick collaboration of songs.
I got it blasted. I can barely hear it after going to the Wolfmother show last night, piercing sound, psychadelic.
.....I wish i knew a way to record this one, or does the base do that ?!? the Hipbase!

Yes this is a great set. All with Steve Berlin playing sax. (which is front and center in this mix)

Is anyone else having strange SotD issues? Mine has been 1979 for weeks, and I can't figure it out. I've logged out and logged back in, I've cleared out all cookies, I've tried something like six browsers on two machines. Possibly relatedly, the music player isn't loading up my entire playlist. I was less concerned about that one, since I tend to do most of my listening in iTunes, but I did notice that the SotD started acting up when I started messing with the playlist. I also tried loading up someone else's, and then putting mine back, but that didn't change anything.

I have not encountered any issues.
I had 1979 once about a week ago.
But I have had the 'regular' SOTD all the other times recently.

Sorry for the crappy information I am about to impart! Is it maybe... time-related? Is the SotD only available during a certain time frame? I checked yesterday during the day (CST) and had Tiger the Lion, so I thought it was fixed. Gremlins, whatever, it happens. My playlist was also fixed. (I spent some time adding and removing songs a few days ago to try to reset things, but none of it took at the time; it has taken now.) So I was about to come here and say forget about it, except I double-checked, and now it is back to 1979. Someone on Facebook is apparently having the same issue with 1979, and someone ELSE is saying something about how the SotD only shows up in the afternoon, Eastern-time, and after that it's some sort of trend song. At least, that's what I think she's saying; I'm not really sure. At any rate, I can pay a little more attention to WHEN I do things and report back, if that'd be useful.
