Friggin Sabres. That Afinogenov has some crazy skills. Along with Hemsky, Crosby and Ovechkin makes for some highlight reel stuff this year.

I just caught a replay of the goal but are you sure it didn't deflect off the d-man's stick?

I think it did. At least that's what it looks like on the replay. Regardless, that was a HUGE game for Sundin. It's always cool to see a player reach 500 goals, even if it was against my beloved Flames. Talk about our defence taking the night off. I can't remember the last time the Flames allowed that many shots. And yeah, Kipper didn't have a great night. But hey, it's a point on the road. We'll take it.
