The way I see it, good. Let the american teams with no fans come to Canada where hockey belongs

Good god, the Flames were horrible tonight. That's the worst I've seen them play in a long time. I don't know if it was thanksgiving turkey hangover or what, but that was pretty awful. Hopefully their upcoming road trip out east will help cure some of the problems, including our dreadful power play. I'm just not sure what to make of these guys yet. They looked awesome against the Oilers on Saturday, and I thought for sure that energy would carry over into tonight, but boy was I wrong. Ugly, ugly game.

Luongo looked great again last night in Minny. That is, except for his horrible effort in the shootout. He looked totally lost in the shootout. That is a little worrisome for most Canuck fans but other than that, he's looked darn good this season. Vancouver really does have a mediocore team and I'm not sure they'll make the playoffs this season. They can't score. Oh well, nothing I can do about it so I'm not too worried.

Luongo did look great last night. I wouldn't worry about the 'nucks being a one line team though - it seems to me that there are a bunch of one line teams out there. In fact there are only a few teams that have had scoring from multiple lines so far this season......

Luongo did look awful in that shoot-out. He should have been beat 4 out of 4 times but he pulled one out of his ass. He really buys into the fake shot and then he's really out of position. I've seen Kipper look the same way. Does anybody have stats on who were the best goalies last yaer in shoot-outs. Would be interesting.

I agree 100% about the circus act that is the shootout. The Canucks aren't a lock to make the playoffs though. Smile Remind me again why Bourdon only played in one game this season for 7 minutes? He's a first round pick who many people thought should have made the team last season. He can't be any worse than Fitzpatrick.

yeah..but unlike fitzpatrick, we want bourdon to have some confidence..i don't mind bringing him along slowly...and i know the nucks are a far lock from the playoffs..i doubt they make it, but i hope the games are a little more exciting than last nights...'snore'

Last night's game was boring.

They should either send Bourdon to the Moose or play him more in the NHL. Playing that little isn't doing him any good. He does look tentative but I don't know if it's because he isn't ready or because he doesn't have enough playing time to feel comfortable.

On a bright note, other than the shot that went off his skate, I like what I saw from Kraijeck, the other part of the Luongo deal. He skates well and looks fluid. I think Ohlund has been a little overrated the last few seasons. He's disappointing to me right now because he should be challenging Pronger, Niedermeyer, Lidstrom for the Norris but he's still a step or two or three below the elite, elite d-men.

Another win for the habs – 5 of 6 road points – and Aebischer is looking good, now to continue the road at home against the Sens…

I think you 'nuck fans are in for a few boring games this season. Everyone on that team, including Naslund, has admitted that the run and gun days are gone. Of course when you've got Luongo, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Great win, I love beating the Flyers. Abby was awesome, wonder if Guy will keep him in for sat.? Hopefully we can take advantage of a Sens team still trying to find itself keep this train rolling!

GO HABS!

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Yeah, I hear ya. I actually would rather them play this style and do well in the playoffs than be exciting and be bumped in the first round again. The bad thing is when they are boring AND losing. If they are winning, all will be well.

Solid win by the Flames tonight. It was nice to see the return of our forecheck and physical play after they mysteriously vanished during that god-awful San Jose game on Monday. Our PP still sucks somethin' awful, but hey, we'll take the win. When you crash the net, good things happen. Phaneuf's monster hit on Hamel was a thing of beauty, and I'm pretty sure that one will be on all the highlight reels tonight. Next up, the Maple Laughs on Saturday. GO FLAMES!!!

Kipper is God!
