good effort by the Habs tonight, a couple of bad sequences probably cost them an extra point tonight, but i'm satisfied with the work they did tonight...Koivu looks great!

What a come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Down 2-4 with 4 min. left, and 3 penalties against, Afenogenov with :15 tie, best come back game I was ever at. That shut up those few idiots and their gay ole song. They were riding high in the 2nd intermission. The best team in the east brought them back to earth in the end!
Neither the bad calls nor the Habs could beat the Sabres!!!!! :jump :thumb:

That effort by Buffalo just doesn't surprise me anymore.
Now if only I could feel the same way about the Bills. I think they are getting there slowly though.
Anyways, I can't believe how many Sabres fans left early. They should know by now that anything is possible with this team!!
Bring on Ottawa tonight :rambo: :rambo: :rambo:

You were satisfied with 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to give up a lead, one of them being short-handed?! Man, wow. That's blind devotion.
And yes, Koivu did have a great game.

none of them were shorthanded
My bad. But on Briere's goal, he had just come out of the penalty box, no?

Once again, welcome Mr. Luongo to Vancouver.
I've come to the point now, after seeing the Sedins progress since the lockout year, that I think I'll stop referring to them as the "Sedin Sisters". The Sedin brothers and Luongo are the backbone of this team right now IMO.

Damn, that was the most intense Battle of Alberta game I've seen in years! Nice to see the Flames getting back to playing Flames-style hockey again. Our PP still needs work, but our PK & defence were brilliant, and I thought the boys did a superb job of clogging up the lanes and keeping the Oiler forwards to the outside. Also, The Iginla/Langkow/Tanguay line was bloody dangerous tonight. Every time they were on the ice, the Edmonton defence had all kinds of trouble containing 'em. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
Next up, San Jose on Monday. GO FLAMES!!!

WOOO what a great game last night, still not a fan of shootouts though. Aebischer looked tremendous in net. I think it might be tough for Guy to pick a number one guy between the pipes cause Huet looked really good against the Sabres the other night as well.
GO HABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
