I'm originally from Detroit and now live near San Francisco. I'm going back to the Fillmore in Detroit for the 5/30 show and will be seeing both shows in SF at the Fillmore. For those who haven't been, the Fillmore in SF is historic, as it was a huge venue in the 60's with Jopplin, the dead, etc. I believe it burned down before it moved to it's current location. It's all General Admission and probably seats 600-800. It's really cool, the tradition is to hand out apples on the way in and you get a poster if it sells out (which it will). But I wish they would have played the Warfield again. They played it for the WC tour and busted out Put it Off - SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been to approx. 20-25 shows in my life, and Put it Off was a top 5 moment.

Nothing beats the Motor city however. The Detroit and Ann Arbor areas are huge Hip hotbeds. I was there for Live Between Us at Cobo and the Fillmore should be great too. Live Between Us was the night before Thanksgiving and I'll never forget it. The acoustics in Cobo arena are some of the best on the planet. Bob Seger, Kiss, J Giles and others have shot live shows there for this very reason. All Kitchener shows.

Show 1 Row L Orchastra 2 tickets
Show 2 Row A Orchastra 2 tickets
Show 3 Row 1 Section A Messine 4 tickets

Not bad considering I was pissed off pretty good at the start with the password fiasco.

My ticket buying experience was kind of weird..

I was hoping for tickets to Vancouver, 1 show, 2 tickets, it didnt matter which day. I was not able to bring up anything decent with ANY of the presales, so I decided to try my luck with the general sale on Friday.

I was choked when I saw the Amex "Front of the line".. I thought for sure my chances of scoring good seats were gone.

Anyhow, I was online at 10:00 on the dot.. all I was getting was row 15 and above, and various balcony seats. at about 10:17, I pulled up 2 tickets that said "ROW 2." I thought for sure it was on the balcony, but then I noticed that it said "ORCHESTRA." I bought these tickets immediately, needless to say.

I ended up with Row 2 in the Orchestra section, Left Center, just a little off to the side of centre stage. Very weird that it was almost 20 minutes after the tickets went on sale that I was able to get them, but hell.. I"ll take them any way I can get them.

I can't wait.. I have never seen the Hip at this venue, so it should be good.

spent a bundle, but you know how it goes. good music and a good time is priceless.

Got my San Francisco tickets for 06/14 in the mail today! Still waiting for the 06/13 tickets. They shipped on the same day, so I'm not sure why I got one and not the others. I expect I'll see those ones tomorrow.

Got mine in the mail last week as well. Just for kicks I searched Ticketmaster last night and you can still get very good seats for the 2nd and 3rd Ottawa shows. So tempting to buy them but the wife would kill me.
