sure he was immature at times, but in the grand scheme of things, this kid carries himself better than alot of veterans do.

I think the exhibition game between Edmonton and Phoenix in Winipeg proved that Manitoba deserves their own hockey team in the near future. I hope this opened the leagues eyes, and get them thinking into expanding back to the peg.

cfern, come on. I never said we should expect him to be mature beyond his years. Don't hear what I'm not saying. I did say that the tandem of Crosby and Malkin would be a force in years to come. Seeing as how you neglected to quote that, I'm guessing you looked right past the purpose of my post. Pens won't make the playoffs this year. As Crosby and Malkin mature with age, the team will turn into a serious contender. Let's step off that hockey high horse for just a second.

Cfern, feel free to respond if you wish - I am not intending to be antagonistic.
My point was that Crosby is still an immature player and that this will change with age and experience - making him all the more dangerous on the ice. I say you missed the point because you suggest that I implied that Crosby should be exhibiting "wisdom beyond his years." The truth is, I never said that. Nor did I intend to.
As to the hockey high horse comment - I'll be the first to admit it was out of line and I apologize. I love it that you are so opinionated and express them freely. My bad, not yours. That comment was mostly made for alliteration's sake.
