[The Darkest Canuck]

Maimi and Buffalo aren't gonna be a walk in the park for the Jets, both teams need to win to have even a slim hope of postseason...and even if they didn't have to win, they're bitter division rivals, and would love nothing more than to at least stop another team from their division from entering the playoffs, if they themselves can't make it...

1. Having said that, I think NY loses at least one of those games to the Bills or Dolphins.

2. Rex Grossman, what happened? hock:

3. Would Eli Manning be a starting QB in the NFL is his last name was different?

4. Has there ever been a WR, who is considered the best the in NFL, who drops as many passes as TO does?

5. Does Jay Cutler, a 1st year rookie, really give the Broncos the best shot at winning right now?

6. Could the Buffalo Bills defensive line stop me if I was a running back?

7. Is there anyone else who is even close to L Tomlinson as far as the MVP race goes this season?

1. Yes
2.
3. probably not, unless he was 2nd string and filling in for an injured #1
4. I'm not sure...probably not though
5. NO...Plummer might not be great, but he's the best they've got
6. Yes
7. hmmmmmm, no, there really isn't...

and let me add, Colster for rookie of the year, he's amazing to watch...which says something playing on the same team as Bush.

Thanks for the responses. I think I could run for 50 yards against the Bills but I guess we'll never know.

Colston has had a great rookie season. Staying on the topic of the Saints, Drew Brees has to be the most underrated player in the NFL, BY FAR. They said he was a product of the system in San Diego. Then he went to a Saints team that was supposed to be at the bottom of the NFC standings and he consitently puts up great numbers and has the Saints at the top of their division.

Frank Gore is the most underrated player in the NFL

Brees and Gore are both underrated but the RB position is an easier position to fill than the QB position. There are a lot more good/great rb's than good/great QB's. Brady, Manning, Brees, Palmer are pretty much it when it comes to QB's. Hasselbeck is decent, Mcnabb is alright, Rivers looks good so far.

I disagree that the RB position is easier to fill than a QB....i don't think either position is "easier"

[cferneyh]

A QB has to know every play in the book. He has to know where every receiver's route is going to take them. He has to look at the D when they line up and recognize their formation, and make a split second decision as to whether or not the play called will match up with well with the defensive formation, and if not, audible for something else.

A RB has to know which way he's supposed to run.

Look at it this way- there are a lot more great running backs in the NFL than great QB's.

No, they won't be a "walk in the park" -- this is the NFL.

However, if you had the choice to play 2 games, who would you pick -- Miami & Buffalo, Indy & Denver, San Diego & Cincinnati, Baltimore & San Diego, or Indy & New England, the choice is easy, right?

The Jets have the easiest road to the Wildcard, hands down, though that certainly doesn't me I think they'll make it. They are the probably the worst 7-win team out there right now. If I had to wager, I'd bet that the Jets win only 2 of these last 4.

FRANK GORE BITCH!!!! Niners sweep the 'hawks...

I missed the game last night cause I had my office Xmas party, but I hear I missed quite a 4th quarter performance by Alex Smith as well. Good to see them really starting to gel as a team. Should be solid contenders for the division title next year...If not for the bonehead call by Nolan at the end of the St.Louis game a few weeks back they'd still have a great shot at a playoff spot this year, though I guess technically they aren't completely out of it yet.

[opiated]

don't remind me of that bonehead play by Nolan..i think he's learned though..fake punt last night, and they stuck to the gameplan..last night was probably the most important game in 4 years for the franchise..hopefully this will see a true turnaround...they could still win the NFC West this year!!

:jump EAGLES EAGLES EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jump

woo hoo, big win today

[Drez7]

And the Bills are still alive....mathematically speaking :rambo:

Let's Go Colts...we are gonna need a lot of help!

Also need the Jets and Broncos to take a dive as well...anything can happen!

Assuming we win out...Titans and Ravens up next, gonna be a tough two weeks. At this point it is lose and be done.

GO BILLS!!!!
