Any Hipbasers considering coming down for this Hogansburg show??? Last stop on the tour???

My wife(WheatQueen) and I are driving from Detroit to see the last two shows on the tour. We will be in Rochester and Hogansburg. We have reserved a room at the Comfort Inn next to the casino in Hogansburg. We're just waiting on our tickets for the last show. We're both looking forward to the trip.

Okay, so that sounds bad. Any other suggestions - I'm not picky. Anything within walking distance or would that be too dangerous (highway)?

The hotel at the casino is about 1.5 miles away from the concert site. There is really no hotel within walking distance. There is a place called Wolfclan truckstop that has nice rooms also in hogansburg. They are east of the all in lounge by about 4 miles. It is about 5-7 years old and I have been told the rooms are nice. Not sure about the price though. (518) 358-2201

Yes, I look forward to seeing Ron and any other Hipbasers who show up at Rochester and/or Hogansburg. We will have a great time rockin' out to The Hip together!

If you don't want to stay at the hotel near the casino here are some other options near the venue. You could stay at the Super 8 motel in Massena NY. It's about a 12. 5 mile drive from the venue. From the motel, just take a left onto St Hwy 37 East and go 12 miles until you reach the Bear's Den. The venue is right next to the Bear's Den. There is also a Quality Inn in Massena. It's on 10 W. Orvis street. It's about 13 miles from the venue.

Listening to the Kingston radio station yesterday. Some benefit is happening in Kingston this Saturday night (can't remember what for), but up for auction are VIP tickets for the Hip at the new Kingston arena. No date was announced, but its definitely happening early in the new year.......

No, we don't need to, just thought I would post additional information as I heard it. Also to let anyone know in the Kingston area if they wanted to bid on VIP tickets.
