I come from a small family, but it's nonetheless hell on my little bro. Let's just say I am AWFULLY glad that I don't have an older brother like me. It's not the number of siblings, it's how much they frustrate you.

You think your family is dysfunctional? My father's family is divided between England and Canada because they broke into two halves and wouldn't speak to each other. Then the bunch that moved to Canada started hating each other but wouldn't go back to England (much to the chagrin of the Canucks around them) because it was like "I'm not leaving the country, this is your fault, YOU get out of MY country!"

My dad is Irish, my mother Scottish. I don't know much about my mother's side except that her grandfather was in the Royal Navy...hint, hint.

My father's relatives came to Canada in the 1800's one step ahead of the law. I don't know the details but it had something to do with some stolen horses and the Magistrate's daughter. Apparently she was with child. Ain't love grand??

Yeah that's what we figured. I had to reboot three times last time I installed it.

Well I never before got to be involved with endless threads...usually by the time I get online, it's 15 pages long and I can't follow ANY of the conversational happenings. We four (five if you include vicariousmartyr who took off early) were part of something cool! At least you have that!

I never hear the hip on the radio in St Louis. The only people that I know in STL that are aware of the band have been intoduced to them by me. A curious note however, I work at Walgreens, the largest drug store chain in the states. We have our own music playlist along with Walgreen promotions for customers. On that playlist is NOIS. I get to hear it once a day. Go figure.
