It looks like the Oilers are going to make short work of the Ducks, where as the Canes/Sabres series looks like it might be a long one...hopefully the potential long lay-off won't hurt the Oilers.
And yeah Rexall last night was about as loud a hockey arena i've ever seen. Might not have been there in person, but we still know Smile Now, if only they'd stop playing the Black Eyed Peas...

Didn't hear that 1, but I did hear Blough....

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

I think it's the BEP they play before every game anyways.

Peca's been playing awesome!

So much for "coasting on reputation for years. He should be giving Hasek 50% of his paycheque. Lowe screwed the pooch by committing that much money to him."

How's that crow taste cferneyh?

I
The best part of it all, was when Paul stopped singing O Canada, and let everyone else take over. f**k, such class. You will never see that in any arena, in any sport ever.

There's something I don't understand about Peca. He is a SLOW skater and is supposedly a top notch defensive forward. The thing I don't understand is how he is getting so many breakaways. Is he just floating?

Hey, this is kind of fun. It's like having my own Hipbase Admin Assistant! If my Admin Assistant put half as much effort into her job as you do pulling out my old posts, I'd have to give her a big raise.

tommygunn, for your next project I'd like you to pull out your posts where you say that Peca was worth the money and trading for Roloson was a good deal, you know, prior to the playoffs. What's that? You didn't make those proclamations? Well I guess hindsight is 20/20, isn't it?

Now run along and find someone else to stalk, you freak.

Man that Daniel Briere is some player, he's been playing like this all season long but kinda snuck under the radar because he missed so much time due to injury. Two quick goals for the little guy tonight in the 2nd.
I was trying to remember last game who the Sabres had to give up to get Daniel Briere from Phoenix a couple of seasons ago...they trade Chris Gratton & a 4th rounder in 2004 to the Yotes for Daniel Briere and a 3rd round in 2004. What a steal that's turned out to be.
