My tickets said Hamilton Tigercats, so they said they would issue me new ones. While I had them on the phone, I gave a little sob story to having pretty good seats, but ultimately not getting them due to the system issues.

They said they'd help with that.... and they did. I moved from section 25 Row M, to section 26 (dead center) row C. They emailed my tickets to me within 5 minutes of hanging up.

Beauty Story, nice work

Anytime... glad you enjoyed

OK so I phoned them at Ivor Wynne today and the latest news is that if you have printed out tickets that say Hamilton Tigercats vs Ivor Wynne stadium they WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED at the concert. The gentleman told me that they will be sending out emails tomorrow or early next week stating what went wrong and bla bla. Then later next week or early the following week they will be sending out new emails with all the tickets to be printed out again. So if you have the tickets that say Hamilton Tigercats vs Ivor Wynne then you had better make sure to check the email you signed up with them and make sure you print out the new ones later next week as they will NOT be accepting the current ones if they are written wrong. I also asked the guy to confirm my purchase and he confirmed it so they do have all the information with regards to the exact seats purchased and nobody should be getting screwed over. Thank God I was on Hip Base and found out this issue or we might not have checked the email that we got the tickets with and been screwed on concert day.

I finally received my tickets in my e-mail inbox today. They read: The Tragically Hip - Farewell to Ivor Wynne. Make sure you all have the proper tickets, as Wesley said just above me, they will not be accepting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. (blank) tickets.

What a great show this will be. It falls exactly one week before my wedding day, I am taking my wife-to-be to the show (her first Hip show, my eleventh), and I finally convinced her that Little Bones will be our grand entrance theme for the wedding party reception.

HIP! HIP! HIP! HIP!

Same, just printed the PDFs. I called the Ticat office and asked them to also have tickets available for me at Willcall so I can keep a set of original hard copies for my collection. These tickets will be quite unique and a blast to have a look at 10 years from now.

Has anybody else not received re-printed or re-issued tickets yet? Just wondering if I need to get on the phone to the ticats this week.

I had not received mine either. Called the ticats and staff confirmed that the email of my reissued tickets should have taken place, but had not. Staff emailed the corrected tickets immediately.

Thanks! Good thing I called - they e-mailed them five times but never went through. Got the one she sent while we were on the phone though, which is the most important one!

I reallllllly hope the weather is good for this one. I've never been to an outdoor show in non-summer months!

I was mentioning the same thing to a friend of mine, could you imagine if they had a freak early snow storm. I think it would be awsome. But if it rains its gonna be so cold. It goes down to like 6 degrees at 10pm at night.
Also yea, we called em and got our new emails last Wednesday and printed out the correct tickets.
I feel bad for those people who used a backup email for these sort of things and printed out the bad tickets and did not check that email again and will be left standing outside. I think The HIP should send out an email thru The Hip.com to all members as to what happened and to make sure they have the correct tickets.

Anybody need an extra ticket for this show? I originally purchased 4, but only have 3 people coming now.

Section 26, row C.... pretty good seats. Face value is $100... but will sell for $75.

Let me know... I can meet in Hamilton before the show... we are driving in from out of town.

doors at 6pm???
show at 7pm

that leaves a lot of people to squeeze through the gate(s) in 1 hour!!!! though some will miss sam roberts and i'm not sure why they would....

i hope they know what they are doing there...which they probably wont, as there hasn't been a concert there in um like 25+ years

sam 715-815 ?
hip 9pm

stadium is in a residential neighborhood which is why they stopped having concerts there after the pink floyd animals show Confusedhock:

my guess is strict curfew of 11pm

no 2 sets-"an evening with" Sad
