I did Salamanca and for me personally at the bottom of my of places to see them...not a casino fan and a lot of tickets went to of course casino people as well as the room it is played in is one level where they put chairs out like a big hall so unless you are towards the front it is hard to see...they do put video screens up and the drive is beautiful. Did Syracuse too and now that is a great venue!
Yes Salamanca does suck as a venue. Shorter showtimes and a flat surface. And real, real old people in front of me. I really do not like going there.
But I will.
And at least it is a 2,000 seat venue and not a Canada show with 20,000 people.

Yep, The wife was saying she wanted another shopping trip in the states before Christmas, so selling the idea of going to the hip concert in Fargo was the easiest thus far!
Anyone know the price of the Fargo Tix? I can't seem to find the show on Ticketmaster...
Minneapolis is $30 so I'm guessing it will be in that neighbourhood. I'm interested to see where the pre-sale link takes us tomorrow; Ticketmaster or the venue's site. I don't anticipate tickets being too tough to get for this show. One thing I was curious about is capacity for the Fargo Theatre?

For Rochester, ticketmaster has a price range of $39.85-$69.85, but it doesn't list what the price difference is for. I was wondering if it was just balcony/floor making the difference. Have a bunch of friends who want to go, but not for $79 after fees.

$80 for Rochester.....for 1 tix....They do well in WNY but c'mon. Damn.
Compared to $55 at the fillmore San Fran, $55 in Vegas, $51 in Hollywood. Too bad Roch is the show that works best for me
Actually Rochester is now showing $39-$79

$80 to see the Hip in a great venue isn't too bad, imo. Although I noticed the Syracuse show starts at 9:00, where the other dates have earlier start times. I wonder what that means. Still going to hit it up, though.

No Conneticut or Jersey (Atlantic city) shows this time through and only one NY night. Not complaining just an observation. Big Thank you for a Sat night show in New york city, and a night off the following day hopefully the boys are not rushing off the stage and the crowd will be partying!
Guess it's going to be NY Philly and Clifton Park. Bring it on!
Anybody think there will be a second leg in the US?
By the time they do Canada "Plan A" will be so tight from these 25 shows!
Been waiting for this since 09

emperpenguin Wrote:Agreed with all points. I avoid the casino shows if I can. I saw the crowes down there, and swore off going there again. awful time, rude people(the casino peeps), short show, security horrible, and the band made a few negative comments during the show about the whole scene.
When I saw them in Moncton in 2011 at Casino New Brunswick it was fantastic: great standing room with excellent sounds. Its probably the best concert venue in New Brunswick suited for The Hip. Harbour Station is a great arena in Saint John, but the crowd always sucks at Saint John shows.
