Just listen to Gord’s vocals from the EP and compare them to WATS or WC.While I agree Downie's voice was pretty great on the last two albums - his voice on the live tour was something totally different.
I have been transferring a whole bunch of Hip cassettes to CD lately, and yesterday I was working on two from 2007. And Damn does Downie really suck. His voice seemed shot for the majority of that tour. I know that tour dragged on and on and on - and even at the end of the tour the guys seemed like "get us the 'F' out of here"
But for the WATS tour - I thought his voice was spectacular through out.

What a missed opportunity.
