Canada lost one of its best writers last week. A genuine, funny human being whose penchant for remarkable works of art might have only been surpassed by his love of this beautiful game (head shots and referee scandals be damned).
Hockey Night In Canada stepped it up this week by paying tribute to Paul Quarlington during its opening montage before the early games. The soundtrack: Dope Friends and Boozehounds by the Rheostatics.
Cheers,
Pat
