Dire - I agree. I like the studio cut. The live version is special for me, and every time it felt too damn short. It really is something special.
Hands - DS is a weird opener, I agree. Certainly not a traditional rock-out opener. Regardless, I've gotten it as an opener to all 4 shows I've seen and I've loved it. To each their own.
Also Hands - Too bad on Escape, because they seem to have tweaked the way they play in in the past few years. Paul and Gord S. really harmonize on the chrous parts and it's really just kick-ass.
