Greetings from Austin Texas,
I'm a big fan here in Texas and have made it to most of the local shows the last 10 years or so. I had a question I thought I might ask the more informed Hip Base here. I own both an Edirol digital 2 ch.audio recorder and an HD flash drive video camera (Canon), question is can I record audio and/or video at the show here tonight? It seems I have seen that audio is Ok with the band but I wanted to be sure and respectful of the bands wishes. Looking forward to another dose of The Hip as we fans down here only get few chances to see them. I have emailed all my friends and told them this is a must see....mind you I usually don't do that. I was at the ACL show as my uncle Roky Erickson was also performing....while watching the Hip I noticed one of our writer/critics from the local paper beside me, I leaned over towards him and said "so...you really do know good music"....he just smiled and we all enjoyed a fantastic show.
