Really skippy? Really?
Anyway, your underdog theory is, well, stupid.
MLSE wants to make money. This is a fact. Four rounds of the playoffs with jacked up ticket prices and low, low expenses (players don't get paid for playoffs) would bring in a boatload of cash. This is a fact. But no, in skippy-land MLSE owners want to play the "underdog" card, because somehow that would be better for business. Sure. Makes sense. I'd love for you to explain to me how being the underdog is better for business than, you know, on-ice results. And while you are at it, maybe you should explain this to the Detroit Red Wings, who somehow haven't grasped this underdog theory.
And while I'd love to humour you and run off and review whatever Duhatschek has written to support this totally idiotic "underdog" theory, understand this: just because I like Duhatschek, doesn't mean I always agree with Duhatschek.
And back to the Habs, should I assume that this will be Year 17 of their "underdog" plan?
