I think it's a pretty good review; I couldn't agree more with his statement about mediocre song writing, but I think he goes to far in thinking that the Hip are selling out. I get the over-production issues, but really, thinking that the Hip are trying to reach out to WalMart is a bit much. Do some research, read some interviews about why these guys work with Bob Rock (or just go to their website, spend 20 minutes watching the 4 bathhouse videos) and you'll understand why they work with him. I just hope they don't work with him anymore.
