If an American journalist is saying their live show is better than that of The Hold Steady, that's about the best praise they could hope to get in the States. I don't necessarily think this review is saying anything that other reviewers haven't already said about the album and their touring, but it's significant just because it's the WSJ. Now if Rolling Stone and Pitchfork would kindly hop on the WATS bandwagon...well, I guess it wouldn't change anything about my love for the band, but it sure would be nice.
