Great show, I ended up sitting next to two casual hipbaser's (we're everywhere!) who said they went to a hip show in Amsterdam, followed by a trip to Hong Kong, and a flight to LA for another Hip show for their honeymoon. Pretty sweet. Anyways, Plaskett was in fine form tonight, Peter Elkas was amazing and Rose Cousins and Ana Egge were unbelievable. I scooped a set list.
Set One:
.Happen Now (full acoustic Band)
.Deny Deny Deny (Full acoustic Band)
.Pine Pine Pine (Full acoustic Band)
.Blue Moonlight (ana on drums, rose on keys)
.Farmer's Daughter (Ana vocal)
.Nothing More To Say To You (Joel and Bill acoustic)
.Heartless Heartless Heartless (Joel and Bill acoustic)
.Rewind Rewind Rewind (Joel on keys)
.Awesome Valley (Rose vocal, Joel on drums)
.Rolling Rolling Rolling (Full acoustic band)
Set Two: (With the Emergency)
.Work Out Fine
.Extraordinary (Elkas and the girls joined at the end)
.Through and through and through (with Elkas and the girls)
.Gone Gone Gone
.Sailor Eyes
.You Let Me Down
/18/19.Ashtray Rock/Precious Precious Precious/Run Run Run (all segwaying into one another)
.True Patriot Love (solo acoustic)
.Spinning Spinning Spinning (Solo acoustic)
.Nowhere With You (Solo Acoustic)
.Lazy Bones (solo acoustic, the girls and the rest of the band entered halfway through)
.Million Dollars
.Wishful Thinking
Encore:
.Everytime You Leave (It says request on the setlist)
.Love This Town (Solo Joel Acoustic, Sang without a mic, crowd singing most of the song)
.Fashionable People (Joel on Drums)
.On and On and On
Crowd was pretty good, me and my buddy got everyone standing towards the start of the second set, then people started sitting down and we got asked to sit. I did for two songs but couldn't take it any more and stood. By the end the whole place was on it's feet. Nice innitiaton for Joel into Massey Hall.
