CHICAGO...sold OUT!!!!
#5

clutchcdn Wrote:I checked out the HOB website......and noticed the show is sold out!!!!!

If anyone is going...I would highly recommed making dinner reservations.....with their special package.

Its $40.00....which goes toward your food bill, but with this you get reserved seating.....at the railings just above the main floor AND you get in before the doors open. So if you dont like those seats, you can help yourself to wherever you prefer.

Great deal if you asked me. Made my reservations today.

Anyone know who is opening?

I have been to the HOB Chicago before to see Gord Downie on his last solo tour. I participated in the "Pass the Line" promotion the HOB had for that show which allows anyone early entrance into the venue before the doors open to the public if you purchase a dinner entree and have a concert ticket.

In your post you stated a requirement to spend $40.00 per person to reserve a bar seat overlooking the main floor. It is my understanding of the "Pass the Line" promotion that a dinner entree purchase is the only requirement. My point is I can buy dinner for my wife and I with alcoholic beverages and spend between $50 - $60 and still have the same opportunity at the seats you spoke of. My intention is to grab a main floor spot near the stage. Here is a link to the HOB Chicago website for the "Pass the Line" promotion:

Clutchcdn please let me know what you were told by the reservation staff when you called. Did they guarantee you the bar seat you spoke of. When I was there for the G.D. solo show, a line was formed inside the HOB but outside the concert venue and separate from the public general admission line which was outside of the HOB. The "Pass the Line" participants were let in on a first come first served basis. Can anyone clear this up for me?
