I'd go see the arkells and k-os (i also realize k-os is a completely different style of music that attracts people to the hip / the base).

I just discovered the Arkells and they're fantastic. K-os is equally awesome. I'm not really big on hip-hop at all, but K-os incorporates so many different styles into his music, it's impossible to classify him into one genre. Rock, pop, soul, hip-hop, funk...the dude does it all.
