Just wanted to let everyone know that The Village Pump in Rossmore will be hosting a Pre-Hip party Saturday June 21st prior to the Big Music Fest. Parking is free, and the location is perfect for avoiding the headaches that are sure to come on the other side of the bridge prior to the show. Our pub is approximately 1km away from the event location at Zwick's Park. We are located on the other side of the bay bridge as you enter Prince Edward County. Our sign currently reads Gord Downie gets free beer (for life) for playing highway girl. I'm thinking it is a safe bet that I won't owe him any beer. Come early as we expect a fairly large crowd.
