Philly outplayed us....

I can't agree with that. Philly played best in game 1 and 4, and they played well tonight. Umberger played a great series. But in game 2 and 3, they were outplayed but carried the day because of goaltending. Overall, the Habs were better in every respect but in net. Biron was consistently good, Price was not. Take out the goaltending factor, and this series probably would have gone the other way.

Price was hot and cold, the same story as against Boston. You can't blame him; there is arguably no single player in the NHL who has received more hype and pressure during these playoffs. It's obvious that he isn't mentally solid yet. But the rest of the team has similar problems. Against Boston they got psyched out through the middle of the series and stopped playing their game as a team.

It's disappointing to see the best team in the East through the regular season duck out in the second round. I was hoping to see a Habs-Pens series, and I wouldn't have been too cut up if the Pens had taken that. But losing a series to the Flyers is a bitter pill to swallow.
