We try to expose them to lots of different styles and genres, including jazz, folk, and country. These are all styles we like as well, but we've been surprised to find that they have an ear for the rock and "indie" stuff we're into, like the Pixies, Sufjan Stevens, Eisley, They Might Be Giants, etc.... I fully expect them to develop their own tastes as they mature, but hopefully we can give them a well-rounded foundation to build on!
