Hip History - Day For Night tour
#4

I just came across this page today. Great, great read. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight/stories about the February 1994 concert in New Haven that's mentioned?
Quote:January would give rise to "Yawning or Snarling" and "The Inevitability of Death" and February provided a chance to play some of the new songs live. Sure, some of the new material had been played live before: "Thugs" on Another Roadside Attraction, "Nautical Disaster" at the Kumbaya Festival (to benefit people living with AIDS) in Toronto but, it was the College Earth Summit at Yale that saw the first performance of many of the songs. It was a small gig at Toad's Place but, the new songs were received well and it was only a month before the band would be back in the studio.
... It would have been sometime between Feb. 18 - 20, 1994 (the dates given here for the conference. I couldn't find any record of it in the database. Pretty cool that the band is headed back to Toad's Place on this tour. Maybe they'll break out some DFN rarities.
