The Colorado Avalanche have signed winger Ryan Smyth to a five-year deal worth $31.25 million.

What happened to all of those tears for Edmonton? I mean to not only not come back after all the blubbering at the trade deadline, but to sign with a division rival?

$$$$$ does the talking.

I thought the idea behind the salary cap was that we wouldn't have to "rebuild" for decades at a time. Come on, Kevin, do something positive! You can only ride on nearly winning the cup for so long.
