Lidstrom is one of the greatest D-men to ever play the game..one bad play does not ruin an entire career

Bobby Orr? I would contend that Lidstrom isn't even the best defenseman right now, let alone all time. Pronger, Neidermeyer, and Lidstrom are CLEARLY the top 3 ELITE d-men in hockey. That alone should be enough acclaim. For Healey to go one step further and start calling him the greatest ever..... hock:

Yeah that's a little ridiculous, but I would say he is one of the best ever, you can't argue with 4 norris trophies.

I know Edmonton loves hating Pronger, but somehow Lidstrom stole a Norris Trophy from him last season...Pronger definitely deserved it.

I agree.

Huh? cratch:

Lidstrom deserved the Norris last year. He clearly was the best D-man in the 05-06 season.. Zubov and Niedermayer were better than Pronger as well.
