I want to know how it's different. Brian Burke gave a good explanation of the event. Two guys were hitting Holmstrom. It's not completely unreasonable to think that Rob's hit had something to do with the way Holmstrom's head went into the boards and it wasn't just some simple smashing into the glass from Pronger. Alfie hit a guy from behind and the guy went down. Pronger hit a guy, not from behind, and the guy went down but wasn't hurt bad. Like Burke said, if Holmstrom had his helmet on properly, he probably wouldn't have been cut. The bleeding was nothing anyway. It's ridiculously easy for a cut to form on the forehead.
