i would suggest, if you can anyway, make some little vacation out of a trip here to NL, spend a few days and check out some scenery, tours and other stuff (George Street)
just my $.02, but that's what a lot of people told me when they travelled here for Pearl Jam in Sept. 05
Kinda what I was hoping to do...George St. is of particular interest. $600 for flight kinda dips into beer $ though. I'll see.
