The simple answer: No. Newfies fly more often than any other Canadian, in my somewhat educated opinion (I work for Air Canada). Most likely due to the fact that they're on an island. Flights in and outta there are generally very full which means they're generally quite expensive, from The Excited States anyway. I just checked aircanada.com and $611US taxes in is the cheapest on right now, however, there's no sale for Sept flights yet. You can get a sale in June for instance that would be $514US taxes in - that's about as low as you could expect.
