The latest I've heard from/about John Samson, was his being on CBC Radio's Canada Reads panel (see: http://www.cbc.ca/arts/books/story/2007/...riday.html). The other panelists were author Donna Morrissey (a super-nice person - she worked out at the gym I used to work at) and musician Jim Cuddy. Samson's book won.
