He got back a very, very good package for Keith Tkachuk a few days ago, and yielded another good package for Bill Guerin this morning. He also added a guy that i'm a big fan of, and that is Brad Boyes. Boyes had a terrific rookie season for the Bruins last season but got off to a rough start in Boston this year, and as such has been in coach Dave Lewis' doghouse the last couple months. I think he'll rebound in St.Louis though playing a much more promient role.

He was expected to play a pretty prominent role for the B's this season and that didn't pan out very well. I wonder about that guy for a couple of reasons: (1) he's only 24 but he's now with his fourth organization (Leafs, Sharks, Bruins, and now Blues) and (2) the NHL's history is littered with players who had strong rookie seasons, but then fell off the face of the Earth once other teams started paying more attention to them defensively.

I remember I wasn't thrilled when the Leafs parted with him as part of the Owen Nolan Experiment.....but now that he's with his fourth team it's clear that he isn't living up to expectations wherever he goes.
