Yeah, by the sounds of it, it seems some people went more for the beer than the actual concert.

"why was there only beer till 9 pm, A lot of people left cause of cause of that"


Here's another funny sampling:

"This was my first time seeing the HIP and my first time at the SBC. I must say that although I am a real big fan of the Hip and enjoy all their music, they really have no stage presence"



No stage presence? Geez! I wouldn't bother playing these smaller Canadian cities if I were The Hip. They played in Sydney, NS to only about 2000 fans, half of whom showed no appreciation. People complain about The Hip never coming to their little town or city and then when they do, you see comments about stage presence and lack of beer.
