Given your post in the MLB thread, I was expecting a joke from you here. You know, something to the effect of...

but I think the best thing to do with an English degree is to continue your education and get your Masters... or move to Chicago to teach, where you'll soon be treated like golden god!

I too had been patiently waiting for someone, anyone, to make a "move to Cheecago and take over the system within six months" joke. I would have done it myself, but I'm still stinging from the fact that, according to an illiterate teacher, I don't have a real job.
