Harper's opponent in the last election was a scandal-plagued windsock less charismatic than an infected toenail, who seemed to have no policies at all and who ran the most incompetent election campaign in human memory. And against Martin, the Harper juggernaut won the weakest minority government in the history of Canadian politics.
Stephen Harper is a placeholder. Anyone who thinks he'll win another term, much less a majority, is delusional.
